Even with Urban Meyer’s decision to step down, it did not phase the decision of four-star running back Mike Blakely from Bradenton, (FL.).

Blakely and his teammates at Manatee are set to face St. Thomas Aquinas in the semifinals on Friday December 12. Right now his only focus is his teammates and winding his high school career down to a trip to Orlando.

But from what words came from Blakely, Gator fans should have nothing to worry about. He is still in shock about Meyer’s decision but Blakely told the media that he is one hundred percent firm on his choice to play football for the Gators at the next level.

I spoke to two other 2011 commits a couple days ago, FB Hunter Joyer and kicker Kyle Christy and they both told me that their decision is set as a Gator. They said they are not going anywhere.
