Chaz Green Impressed with Florida

Offensive Tackle Chaz Green is one of the most popular recruits remaining, and he recently took a visit to Gainesville. While visiting the Gators campus and athletic facilities, Green was very impressed with what Florida had to offer. He was among several top recruits who visited Florida this past week, and left feeling good about Florida.

“Coach Meyer was treating me like a son as well as all the recruits. He treated me like I was already a Gator. Coach Meyer did not put any pressure on me at all and was saying this is my home whenever I want. It was overall just a great atmosphere.”

Besides developing a good connection with the Head Coach, Green also enjoyed Florida’s strength and conditioning program. The program is what gives Florida an upper hand come football season, so that fact that Green was impressed by what Florida had to offer gives us a good read on what his possible decision could be.

The four star prospect still has some more visits left on his schedule, including one to USC where he will meet the former Tennessee coach, Lane Kiffin. He had Tennessee on his list, but hasn’t spoken with them since Kiffin’s departure, but he hasn’t ruled them out yet.

GSN will keep track of Green’s future decision, and how his other visits unfold.
