I want to believe he will be successful, but I have my doubts. This argument is weak. Re-read this article, and everywhere you see “Tebow” replace it with “Wuerffel”, who also set high school and college records, and won college and high school championships, and had a heart that couldn’t be questioned. But had questionable arm strength and questionable ability to “make all the throws” the NFL requires. I passionately believed he would make it, and thought Mel Kiper was an idiot for not seeing how Wuerffel’s championship spirit would ensure he would make it in the NFL.

Kiper was right, I was wrong. So now I’m more skeptical.

I agree and he will be taken in the first round.

Tebow’s mechanics are no worse than Aaron Rodgers of Green Bay. His defensive reads are no worse than other QBs that came out of spread offenses. People said similar things years ago of good college QBs who came from run and shoot offenses–those QBs thrived. Being a college QB is not just about running a system– it’s learning how to learn. Tebow may not win a Super Bowl, but I am sure that if given the chance he can at least be an average NFL QB. With the right coaches, he could be more.

He’ll be a great sideline QB or possibly a 3 snap a yr. TE.

I belive Urban Myer. After the Sugar Bowl, that question popped up…can you make it at the next level Tim, and Urban Myer answered for Tim with an emphatic…YES!!
