The Florida Gators have just defeated a team that they haven’t beat in years. The Miami Hurricanes. After the Gators 26 to 3 victory as the players were shaking hands, Miami Coach Randy Shannon is now known as a Whiner. After the game, instead of shaking Hands with Gator coach Urban Meyer he slapped hands. Shannon was whining about the calls from the SEC refs and was also mad because Urban Meyer put in the new kicker to kick a field goal late in the game under a minute to put the Gators ahead 26 to 3. What is bad about that? Just because he needed practice and has never been in a live situation before? Get a grip coach. Another reason why the late field goal was smart was because look what happened to the College Football polls. Florida jumped in front of Ohio State as number 4. The Buckeyes let Ohio stay in the game which allowed them to drop to number 5. If Florida would have let up, the same thing could have happened. Look at the Georgia vs Georgia Southern game. Why do you think Georgia moved from the Number 1 spot to number 2? They let Georgia Southern gather up the 21 points that shouldn’t of been there.

Quarterback Tim Tebow had A lot to say and was backing up coach Meyer all the way. Tebow was mad about how Randy Shannon questioned Meyer behind is back. Tebow stated that why would he say that about Coach Meyer when it is not true at all? Tebow also replied to reporters that Meyer is one of the best coaches in the Country and that is why he chose Florida. (stated: ocala.com) Also Tebow added about Shannon, if you want to talk about him, you should talk about A lot of other coaches before you start talking about Urban Meyer. (Stated from ocala.com) Tebow is 100 percent correct. Shannon went way to far on his remarks and his bad sportsmanship. Tebow was really hyped up when he was being interviewed about this matter. It was almost like he was angry because his voice got louder and louder and it’s fine because he is doing the right thing. Sticking up for his coach just because Shannon is a cry baby. Randy Shannon should get a grip. Gators were now running the score and Meyer did not mean it in any negative way. The Gators have a by this week, and will face the Tennessee Vols on week 4 in Knoxville and will be the first SEC game.
