Florida Gator head coach Urban Meyer had to spend the night in the Gainesville hospital after arriving home after the devastating 32-13 loss to Alabama in the SEC championship that took place in Atlanta.

The Florida athletic officials stated that Meyer was treated for dehydration. Meyer was released from the hospital today around 1:30 pm. There are school officials that do know more information but would not like to release it, but they also said that he was suffering some chest pains.

“He’s doing fine now,” Florida director of communications Steve McClain said Sunday afternoon.

The Bowl selections are held on FOX tonight at 8, Florida is expected to play in the Sugar Bowl.

Please get rid of those horrible new “F” helmets. Bring back the orange Gator helmets. We are Gators not the “F” troop.

Flordia is a great team but they can’t win all the time. Alabama just played better and deserves the win. Go BAMA!!

Ingram vs. Tebow was the clincher for either player. If Florida had scored 28 on Tebow possesions than he might’ve had a shot even in a loss. He is a great competitor with semmingly great character to boot. I hope he never goes “Tiger” and keeps up his class. That being said, I’m glad we made him visibly shaken after that game. I think the only way to beat Florida is to play very physical and use a lot of delays and screens. If Tebow was that upset, we did our job. We can’t wait to play the next quarterback the Gators have in Tuscaloosa next year. I root for all SEC teams to win their bowl games unless Tenn. is playing someone else from the South. I hope you guys CRUSH Cincy so they can’t talk about beating Tebow’s Gators in his last game! Learn from Bama and hit these Cats in the mouth early and OFTEN! ROLL TIDE AND GO SEC!! SEC!! SEC!!
