Tim Tebow, Joe Haden, and safety Major Wright took a seperate plane to Lexington, Kentucky on Friday because they are reported to be catching some kind of illness and are not sure if they will be playing tonight against the Wildcats.
It is an illness, but luckly it is not the swine flu. Tebow was feeling sort of weak early Friday and didn’t even think he was going to be able to play but as of right now he told the media that he was feeling much better, so he is progressing.
The seperate plane showed up in Lexington around the same time as the plane the rest of the team was on. The illness was said to be congestion in the respiratory area.
Jeff Demps, Aaron Hernandez, and Jermaine Cunningham suffered from the flu last weekend in the win against Tennessee. A.J Jones and Haden are battling the illness this week.
GSN spoke with A.J Jones earlier this week, around Wednesday and he said that he was feeling much better.
Let’s hope Haden, Wright, and Tebow battle through this sickness and are able to play the first road game of the season and come back to Gainesville with a win. If they do not play, Brantley and our defense is really going to have to step it up against this Wildcat team.
