Tim Tebow earned 44 points and was listed as No. 1 in the USA Today’s Heisman Watch list. Tebow finished third last year for the Heisman but still managed to win a National Championship, but this year he may be seeking a second Heisman and a third championship.
In all 10 ballots, Tebow was listed either first or second with 44 points which was six points ahead of Texas quarterback Colt McCoy. Last years Heisman winner Sam Bradford finished in third place with 33 points.
It’s going to be a nail biter between the three of them all season long but is going to real fun to see how it ends up turning out. California running back Jahvid Best finished fourth and Ole Miss quarterback Jevan Snead finished at No. 5. Below are the top 9 players on the USA Today Heisman Watch, as well as a few additional players with receiving votes.
