One of the biggest games this year for Tebow is only a couple days away, and coming into this final weekend of play before all of the Heisman ballots are due, Tebow is now No. 2 in this weeks Scripps Howard Heisman Trophy Poll.
Tim is just footsteps behind Texas quarterback Colt McCoy who took the No. 1 spot after having a terrific game against Texas A&M last weekend. It was just last week when Tebow and McCoy were tied for second place but McCoy put up the better numbers even with Tebow’s five total TD’s. This is the first time all year that Colt McCoy has taken over at the No. 1 spot.

Local sportwriters in Austin, Tx appear to be voting Tebow 3rd and as low as 4th in one ballot for the Heisman in order to reduce his overall points in case it’s a close vote for McCoy. They cite his stat’s over Tebow, yet fail to recognize Keenum of Houston stats are double what McCoy’s are.
Tebow is the man, heisman or not.
