Florida quarterback Tim Tebow has been named one out of the five finalists for the Walter Camp Football Foundation Player of the Year award early Wednesday.
There winner will be decided by division I coaches and sports directors, and will also be chosen live on December 10 at 6pm on ESPN. Other players who are competing with Tebow for this award are Colt McCoy from Texas who has a good chance of repeating with this award, Case Keenum of Houston, running back Mark Ingram from Alabama, and DT Ndamukong Suh of Nebraska.
Here are some facts on each player:
Tebow has thrown for 17 touchdowns and rushed for 13, McCoy has passed for 3,328 yards and has 27 touchdowns, Keenum has racked up a total 4,992 yards and 38 touchdowns, Ingram has rushed for 1,429 yards along with 12 touchdowns, and last is Suh who has 70 tackles this year, 7.5 sacks and three blocked kicks.
