Wide Receiver Riley Cooper has officially accepted an invitation to play in the Under Armour Senior Bowl on January 30th. He will join roommate Tim Tebow at the Senior Bowl.
Over 800 NFL coaches, general mangers and scouts travel to Mobile to watch the practices. Along with the tough practices Riley will be given test from all 32 NFL teams in attendances
This week of practices could go a long way to determining whether Cooper decides to stick with football or whether to report to Spring Training and join the Texas Rangers. Most mock drafts have Cooper going in the 4th or 5th round, but if he can show scouts he can play with some of the best defensive backs in the country he could be drafted a lot higher with his speed.
Cooper led the Gators this year with 51 catches for 961 yards and 9 touchdowns.
