North Marion High School star Latroy Pittman is the first to commit for the 2012 recruiting class.

Pittman, a 6’1 190 pound wide receiver/safety was selected first-team all-county as a sophomore last season, reeling in 35 catches for 612 yards along with six touchdowns.

“It was exciting. Unbelievable, really. I can remember being 11 or 12 years old in the MCYFL and wanting to play for the Gators. I always wanted to play in The Swamp, and now here I am getting an offer from Urban Meyer.” [Gathered by Bryan Saucer of Ocala.com]

Also, they’re are two of his teammates who also have the Gators in their path. Sean Price, who is another 2012 standout has several other schools he is receiving offers from such as Alabama, Florida State, Notre Dame, Oregon and Michigan and plenty others.

Jamie Gilmore is the other 2012 target. Gilmore is fast let me tell you that. Witnessing several of his games, this kid can straight out fly! He attending Friday Night Lights and did real well.

I played basketball against Sean Price and Jamie Gilmore the past two seasons. Both are tremendous athletes with a ton of talent.
