Matt Elam Unsure Of His Decision

Posted by Staff Writers on December 27th, 2009   11 Comments

Florida Gator recruit, Matt Elam, was planning on enrolling to school early, but after hearing about Coach Meyer taking a leave of absence, he has decided to remain in school through the spring season to make his decision.

Elam is a five-star Running Back who is expected to make a big splash on the college football scene. Hopefully, he makes the splash as a Gator, but there’s still a chance that he could change his mind.

Gators Sports Nation will keep track of Elam’s decision, as well as the rest of the Gator recruits. Stay tuned.

    Matt,
Lets be real, you failed to graduate early and are required to stay another semester to graduate. Try and blame the Meyer situation as much as you want but nobody is buying your bullshit. Keep the lying up though tough guy.

  3. Wisdom Personified says:

Jeff Bowden would like the interim coaching job at UF. That said this kid needs to WISE UP and come to FSU where he will be a star not UF where he will share the backfield with 3 other high ranking RB and whatever fat fullback they get to play QB in the spread option to replace Tebow. He’s off to the NFL LOL!!! NFL! TEBOW?! NFL scouts love system quarterbacks they always work out so well (Sarcasm).

Really kid, if you happen to read this: FSU and Miami would be the way to go but you would be the guy at FSU, you could beat out that position on FSU’s roster easily as it’s always lack luster, then you can go on to look like a star against inferior ACC defenses (inferior to SEC usually).

yo hopefully he comes to texas

  5. Jim says:

And that should tell you right there how weak FSU is. They want a DB because they have no RBs and you can go there and start right away. You’ll go 6-6 and play in a bowl game in December, but you’ll get playing time. Ask Greg Reid.

  6. Al says:

Jim your comment is weak. FSU will have you gators bASS next year with or without Elam….

  7. Mr2bits says:

    Wisdom,
Keep slurping a guy who is a DB not a RB as it shows your deep knowledge of recruiting and football. FYI, keep trying to fill those seats at Doak as you may get a sell out once this decade. Top players really don’t get excited playing in front of 50k fans and losing to USF each year.

IF YOUR NOT THROWING THE SPEAR, WELL THEN YOUR GONNA GET STUCK WITH IT. WITH OR WITHOUT THE urban legend, you run is over and the seminole nation is coming for your scalps. SPEAR EM THEN SCALP EM. PS TELL TIM TEBLOW TO CRY ABOUT REAL ISSUES IN LIFE OTHER THAN LOSING HIS SECOND GAME IN TWO YEARS, BOO HOO CRYBABY. WE A FSU

hey elam, u know u wanna be a nole, we know to, well be waitng, joyner and luc cant wait to have u in their class. FEAR THA SPEAR

Top 5 Recruiting classes take at least 2 years to help out a program. FSU has one of the worst defenses in the ACC, that will not change next year. FSU will be 7-5 or 6-6 next year, yet again. John Brantley will make FSU fans hope Bobby and Mickey return in Yoak Stadium Next year.
Luc is slow, and will be a DL’man for you guys in 2 years, 4.7 LB’ers with stiff movements, dont start at LB for FSU. Joyner is over rated, he is no Greg Reid! The rest of your 3 Star commitments will not get you a wins against UM next year. FSU to the Toilet Bowl yet again, and again, and again…
