Only four days left until the big SEC match up between the Gators and No. 4 LSU and already are the Tiger fans taunting the Florida players. Not through facebook or myspace, but through texting and cocky phone calls.
John Brantley, who can be a possible start for Saturday’s game told the media that he received several texts that he had no clue who’s numbers they were. Of course they are going to be LSU fans. But not only Brantley, but Riley Cooper and offensive coordinator Steve Addazio have both been getting phone calls and text messages from Gator haters, trying to mess with their head and possibly do anything that could keep affect how they play on Saturday. But I don’t think its going to work for them…. Sorry.
“They haven’t been bad,” said Brantley, Who has been preparing in practice to get ready just in case Tebow is not cleared to play. “It’s just a little annoying.”
Tebow has this same problem about two seasons ago when they suffered the loss to LSU 28-24. After a touchdown pass in the first half, Tebow acted like he was calling someone on his phone. The way Tim reacted was pretty funny but the score of the game was not.
“They didn’t get me,” cornerback Joe Haden said. “It’s pretty bad, though. They had my boy Coop. They got him pretty good. I was chilling with Coop and he was just laughing about it.”
Brantley and Cooper both receive texts after texts, voice mail after voice mail. I am sure they are tired of it and it is something they both are going to have to deal with, but I do think they both are thinking to get a new number. But its college football rivalry, its going to happen.
The players are taking it well though, the smartest thing to do is just simply ignore it, have your laugh in and just don’t reply.

wish theyd get my number id give them something to talk about. players probably couldnt even read the texts since LSwho fans seem to have a problem spelling.
