Kiffin Takes The Vol Walk…to USC

“Na na na na hey hey hey goodbye!”

Reports are out that Tennessee Head Coach, Lane Kiffin, has taken the Head Coaching vacany at USC. The Trojans have quickly filled the absence left by former coach, Pete Carroll, following his decision to head for the NFL to coach the Seattle Seahawks. Now, USC has decided to take Lane Kiffin. Well, USC was a good program, hopefully Kiffin doesn’t kill that.

Gator fans love to hate Kiffin, ever since he went up against Urban Meyer’s recruiting tactics. Now, Kiffin will be on the opposite coastal line, so we will not have to see his face anytime soon.

Here are my reasons for Kiffin’s departure from Tennessee:

  • He couldn’t handle the toughness of the SEC conference, especially when he saw how big Tim Tebow actually was.
  • Brandon Spikes wasn’t suspended for his eye gouging incident on the field, in fact, it was when he eye gouged Kiffin after Florida’s victory over the Vols.
  • Kiffin didn’t realize that Urban Meyer was so good at recruiting, and when he saw that Florida had the #1 recruiting class in 2010, Kiffin quickly packed his bags and took a one way flight to Cali.
  • The main reason…it was Kiffin’s idea to rob the bank, and he was the head guy in the operation. He sent the three freshman to the bank, and when he realized the consequences of the plan, he fled the state.
