Joe Haden, the 7th overall pick in the 2010 draft is expected to sign with the Cleveland Browns later this month, his agent reported.

We’ve been in contact with the Browns and expect to begin negotiating next week,” said agent Malik Shareef. “Our main objective is to get Joe in camp on time so he can perform to the best of his abilities. A holdout would not be in anyone’s best interests.” [Reported from Cleveland.com]

Haden, who was the first pick by the Browns has been working out with the first and second team during the teams activities and minicamp. Haden will be battling against Sheldon Brown for a starting position, but you will see Joe in and out subbing on defense.
