Harvin Still Dealing With Migraines

Former Florida Gator receiver Percy Harvin has a history of sustaining migraine headaches, something that the Minnesota Vikings knew all about when they drafted Harvin in the first round in the 2009 draft. The migraines that Harvin suffers from has caused him to miss practices throughout his career at Florida and it has done the same thing to him this year.

Harvin did not play last week and did not practice on Wednesday but did participate in the walkthroughs earlier that morning. Percy is seeing a specialist for this which is called “debilitating.”

“It’s kind of an abstract thing right now,” Childress said. “We know that he gets headaches. We don’t know the whys and what-fors.”

Harvin is second on the team with a total of 681 yards and six touchdowns receiving. He’s not just a WR, Harvin also returns kicks and can be very electrifying. Percy is ranked second in the NFL, averaging about 29 yards a return and already has two brought to the house for touchdowns.

More on Harvin’s status will be covered here on Gator Sports Nation.
