The Columbus’ High School standout Jakhari Gore (pictured) has recently narrowed his college decision to two schools: Florida and LSU. The halfback has had a terrific career in high school, leading his team to an undefeated season in 2008. The South Florida native, who is highly recruited by two powerhouses in the SEC, would help out any team he plays for, and if the Gators can land him, they will add another weapon to the arsenal in 2010.
By the way, if you haven’t figured this out yet, Jakhari has a very successful brother, Frank. The NFL back, Frank Gore, has had a tremendous career with the San Francisco 49ers. As a Miami Hurricane alum, you would think that Jakhari would be headed to the U, but he wants to build his own legacy, and has ruled out going to Miami. With Florida and LSU battling for the 4 star recruit, all we can do is hope that Gore will choice to play in Gainesville.
Stay tuned to GSN as we will provide any news of Gore and his decision, and the rest of the prospects considering Florida.
