Another nail biting when Saturday still kept the top ranked Gators on top of the rankings at No. 1.

The top three teams in the BCS standings for this week are Florida(.9726), Alabama (.9450) and Texas (.8927). Each of the three are on the same path headed to the National Championship, but only if they have what it takes to stay undefeated for the remander of the season.

Florida and Alabama both hold the top two spots in the AP poll as well and could also meet in the SEC championship.

Other teams who have made a move in the BCS poll are Iowa (.8249) who jumped out to fourth place after they defeated the Michigan State spartans on Saturday. Trailing behind them are the USC Trojans (.7944) at No. 5. TCU (.7890) is holding the sixth spot, one place ahead of Boise State (.7752). The eigth team is Cincinnati, then LSU and Oregon wrapping up the top 10.

If Florida, Alabama, and Texas keep winning, it’s going to be a heck of an ending. This is what college football is all about.
