The Florida Gators came into Knoxville Tennessee in front of 106,138 fans that attended todays game. The game was put away very early and I believe Brandon Spikes was right again. Spikes who told media that the Vols just quit playing ball which caused the game game against the Gators last year and I guess he could be right once again. The Gators came out prepared and was not going to let the crowd full of Boo’s get to them while running out of that tunnel. Florida is a too well experienced team to let things like that get in their head so they came out and did their job. The Gators took an early 17-0 lead in the first quarter. A couple key turnovers for the Vols gave the ball in Florida’s hands and you know what they did with it… score. Moody finally got some time in today and didn’t to quit bad while carrying the ball 9 times for 55 yards. What really hyped up the Gators was the punt return that was ran by Brandon James for a touchdown. James is one of the most explosive punt returner in the Nation and sure did show it. Tebow only throwing the ball 15 times and completing 8 passes for 96 yards still was enough to battle through the 30 to 6 win. You can see that Percy Harvin is looking good and back to 100% by the speed he puit on today. Harvin said he hasn’t felt this good since he was playing back in the 10th grade. Harvin caught for 49 yards on 2 receptions with one touchdown. Louis Murphy and Aaron Hernandez both added a pair of catches each while Moore and Cooper added one as well. Phillips attempted and made all 3 field goals with a long of 40 yards. Florida really had faith for Phillips coming through and tacking on some key field goal attempts.

The Gators defense looked very sharp. Linebacker Brandon Spikes had 5 tackles in the first quarter and was just everywhere on the field. Janoris Jenkins had an interception going into halftime which took away Tennessees touchdown at about the 2 yard line. Tennessee had some golden opportunities to score but failed to do so. Tennessee fumbled at the 1 which should have ended up with a score and forcing an interception with little over 10 seconds in the 2nd quarter and one other fumble just crushed the Vols. Florida now improves to 3-0 and (1-0 in the SEC). The Gators look to face Ole Miss next Saturday at 12:00 pm in thw Swamp. Todays win really shifted more momentum on Florida’s side and hope to move on with a win against the Rebels. Look for Cameron Newton and several of the Gators running backs to be spoted on the field on next Saturdays game. Here are some stats on todays win over the Tennessee Vols.
