Former Florida Gator Bobby McCray became the 20th Gator to win a Super Bowl, as the Saints defeated the Colts yesterday, 31-17.

McCray recorded two tackles and one QB rush on Colts quarterback, Peyton Manning in yesterday’s win. A total of 32 Former Gators appeared on the rosters at the beginning of the season, 10 of them competing in the playoffs.

McCray started all three post season games this year for the Saints. The last Florida player that was apart of a Super Bowl win was defensive end Kevin Carter back in 2000 for the St. Louis Rams in Super Bowl XXXIV.

McCray is honored along with the rest of the Saints for their first Super Bowl victory in franchise history.
