The new 2008 National champions are now the No. 1 team in the AP Poll and unbeaten Utah will finish off at the No. 2 spot. Florida received 48 place votes and 1,606 points. Utah themselves received 16 first place votes and 1,519 points.

Following behind Utah at the No. 3 spot are the USC Trojans who received one first place vote spot and Texas fell behind and No. 4. Florida has won another AP National Championship and it now makes it the second in the last three seasons.
