Florida defeated No.1 Alabama 31-20 in the SEC Championship game Saturday.
Their prize: Its eighth conference championship and a chance to win its third national title.
A victory over No. 1 Alabama has made Florida the SEC Champions for the second time the last three years.
More importantly, it moves coach Urban Meyer and the Gators into their second national title game in the same time period.
Alabama likely will have to settle for the Nokia Sugar Bowl against Utah.
