After winning the first two games, the Florida Gators seemed to be heading in the wrong direction in the AP top 25 poll. Starting out in the top 5, who knew they would drop all the way to No. 10 by the third week even without a loss.

The Gators fell to the eighth spot after a 34-12 win over Miami Ohio and then they dropped once again to the 10th spot after a 38-14 victory against South Florida. But now after they beat Tennessee last weekend 31-17, they move up a spot sitting at No. 9.
