It hasn’t been long since the Florida Gators lost defensive coordinator Charlie Strong so he could be the new head coach at Louisville, and now there is another one who will not be on the Gator staff for the 2010 season.

Head coach Urban Meyer started to let the prospects who have committed know that wide receiver coach and recruiting coordinator Billy Gonzales has chosen a position with LSU. Meyer told the prospects that he will not be here next year, just hopefully it doesn’t effect the 2010 recruiting class. It’s crazy how Florida has lost two great coaches just 2 months before signing day.

I’m still curious to know why they would leave when they have it made at UF? Maybe this is what happens when you have so much talent, they benefit from all of the success and move on to bigger and better things.
