Strengths
Harvin is one of the most exciting players that has ever played for the Florida Gators. He is one of, if not, the most exciting players in this year’s draft. Percy is a heck of an athlete. His quickness and speed will definitely make up for his size. He has shown that he is very versatile and can play multiple positions. Harvin can easily make defenders miss, and if he gets in the open field, nobody will catch him. He will make an excellent slot receiver in the NFL if he can stay healthy.

Weaknesses
With Harvin playing a lot of running back at Florida, he hasn’t perfected his route running skills. He did look good at the Florida’s Pro Day, but in order to become a true NFL receiver, he has to master his skills. Harvin is average size and will face bigger and stronger receivers, but his speed should make up for that. The most important thing that many NFL teams are worried about is Percy’s durability. Each year at UF, Harvin has missed a few games because of injury. He had surgery on his right foot after the national championship game. Harvin surprised quite a few coaches at Pro Day. He looked good running routes and had no problem cutting on his foot.

Percy Harvin should definitely be drafted in the first round. There has been talk that the Vikings are looking into drafting him.

  2. Yeah, I’ve read in a few articles that the Vikings are showing interest in him. He’s going to be a big playmaker for any team that drafts him.
