Florida Gator freshman guard from Tel Aviv, Israel, has been officially cleared by the NCAA and is now set to play for Florida this season.
He was recently cleared to practice until the final decision from the clearinghouse was still pending.
Nobody really thought he would be able to play this season because he was added so late and didn’t think he would be eligible in time. That’s why happens when players from overseas come over here, it makes it very difficult to get cleared.
Tishman is ready to go. He stands at 6 foot 5 and 182 pounds, he has been practicing and everything has been going smooth. He will be sharing playing time with sophomore guard Erving Walker this year.
Florida will face St. Leo in the exhibition opener on November 2nd and will go against Stetson on November 15 which will be the season opening game.
