6 foot 10 forward Eloy Vargas from American Heritage, FL. has been thinking about possibly transferring from Florida to play at Kentucky.

Eloy has posted comments on his facebook that said he was visiting UK over the weekend. It seems like he is glad to take the visit and hopefully turn out to be a Wildcat. I’m not sure but that is the way it looks right now. Vargas contributed as a freshman last season not seeing that much playing time, averaging 0.6 points per game. He averaged 3 minutes of playing time a game and I think that’s what he might be unhappy about but I don’t see why. Florida is under their rebuilding years right now and if he does sit out a year because of the transfer I still do not see him playing much at UK.

This is not official that he is transferring but we are just keeping you up to date on his status. I wouldn’t like to see him leave like Allan Chaney did, but if he thinks that it’s best for him then maybe he should.
